About the Brand

Dubunola is a Korean granola brand by BZtarian, a food company founded in 2024 around sustainable food upcycling. Its name combines "dubu," the Korean word for tofu, with granola: instead of oats, Dubunola is made from Korean okara (biji), the soybean pulp left over from tofu making that is usually discarded or used as animal feed.
Through a proprietary pre-treatment and precision roasting process, developed by CEO Yuri Jang, a Seoul National University chemical and biological engineering graduate with Le Cordon Bleu pâtisserie training, the brand removes soy's beany taste and turns okara into crunchy, nutty clusters. The result is grain-free, gluten-free, and plant-based, with protein and fiber that come naturally from Korean soy rather than added isolates, made for yogurt bowls, everyday snacking, and post-workout routines.
In Korea, Dubunola is sold through its official online store, Coupang, and Naver Smart Store, was backed on Wadiz, and has run pop-ups at major department stores, earning a 4.9/5 rating across hundreds of verified reviews. The brand is now looking for retail, distribution, foodservice, and private label partners in the U.S.
